This website is owned, operated and maintained by the About Dereham Partnership, an unincorporated not-for-profit voluntary association working to provide accessible information about Dereham town.
The use of this website is subject to these terms and conditions of use which explain how the website works and how you can use the services we provide through it.
Your continued use of this website is considered to be acceptance of the terms and conditions of use of the site.
Use of the website
You may be required to register with us to use all or part of the services provided on our website including the upload and posting of comments (including, but not limited to, any text, computer script, code, photographs, graphics, video or audio or web links to the same) – your “Contribution”.
From time to time we may restrict access to some parts of the website, or our entire website, to users who have registered with us.
If you are uploading a Contribution to the website you agree to grant us, free of charge, permission to use the material and give consent that the Contribution and your organisation profile will be published on the website, and will be able to be seen, shared amongst and accessible by any users of the site. If the Contribution includes another person, you warrant that the other person has consented to be in your Contribution and to putting your Contribution on the website.
Your Contribution must:

- be genuinely held (where they state opinions)
- comply with applicable law in the UK
Your Contribution must not:
- contain material or links to material which uses another person’s image or invades their privacy without their consent
- contain any material or links to material which is defamatory of any person
- contain any material or links to material which is obscene, offensive or hateful
- be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence
- deceive any person
- give the impression that it emanates from us if this is not the case
You agree that we can use your Contribution as part of the aboutDereham.org website, including making it available to any other users of the website for download. You will retain the copyright of your Contribution. All trade marks, titles and copyrights used in this website relating to third party publications and materials are owned by their respective holders. Any other intellectual property rights relating to this website (unless otherwise stated) are owned by us.
You warrant to us that your Contribution does not breach copyright or any other intellectual property rights and that you have not included or copied another person’s material without their consent or licence, and you indemnify us against any loss they may suffer as a result of a claim that the Contribution contains any third party’s intellectual property rights. If you have used another person’s material, you undertake to ensure that the original creator has given you permission in advance to use it and to have it published by us on the website, without any payment and that the original creator has waived any moral rights they may have in the Contributions.
